SOJOURNS, 2025
For Simons Yorkdale, Kal Mansur was commissioned to create a series of five large-scale works in acrylic and plexiglass. The commission extends Simons’ 185-year legacy of supporting the arts through a robust program of commissions and collections embedded within its retail spaces. By situating Mansur’s exploration of light, color, and spatial perception within this tradition, the project affirms Simons’ role as a patron of contemporary practice and its commitment to sustaining dialogue between art and the public.
