Tree of Life is an acrylic sculpture consisting of 184 compound-angled boxes with etched symbols of the evolution of the natural sciences.

The sculpture stands at 9-feet and is permanently displayed in the lobby of the Centre for Health Sciences at George Brown College - Waterfront Campus in Toronto.

Kal Mansur was commissioned to engineer, execute, and make the Tree come to life.

The piece was conceived by Luigi Ferrara, architect and dean of the Centre for Arts, Design & Information Technology at George Brown College.

Elements of the sculpture were CNC machined. Other elements had compound angles that were calculated entirely by hand.
